AI assistants are fantastic tools. They help us draft emails, summarize documents, write code, and brainstorm ideas. But there is a growing trend in team communication that we need to address: the raw AI dump.
The Scenario: You ask a question in chat or an email. Instead of a thoughtful response, someone replies with an uncropped screenshot of an AI conversation, or a massive wall of raw, copy-pasted text starting with "Certainly! Here is how you can..."
You can (and absolutely should!) use AI to find the answer. But before you hit send, be the filter:
Marketing Idea:
"I asked the AI for some slogans for the new campaign. It gave a lot of generic ones, but I think this one is a good starting point if we tweak it to mention our new feature. What do you all think of: [slogan]?"
Customer Support:
"For that customer issue, the AI suggested we ask them to clear their cache. I've confirmed this is a good first step for this type of problem. Here's a clean draft of the email to send..."
Developer Help:
"I was stuck on that bug and asked an AI for ideas. It suggested an approach I hadn't considered. I've tested it and it seems to fix the issue. Here's the relevant part of the solution..."
TL;DR: Use AI to augment your intelligence, not to replace your judgment. Add human value.
